Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will manage complex business disputes and provide expert legal counsel to our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of litigation processes and the ability to represent clients in various forums, including arbitration and mediation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of business litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare comprehensive pleadings and motions
- Represent clients in court, at arbitration hearings, and during mediation sessions
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies tailored to client needs
- Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and provide sound legal advice
- Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes effectively and efficiently
- Prepare for and conduct trials, presenting evidence and arguments persuasively
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting business litigation
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Barred in CA
- 2+ years of experience doing business litigation
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and principles
- Proven track record of success in trials, arbitration, and mediation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic advice
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
